It doesn’t happen often, but every now and then the camera captures a moment of magic.

We had a family photo-shoot session a few weeks ago in an attempt to get some shots of the kids and of all five of us together.

Normally, pointing a camera lens at any of our three children results in a series of pulled faces, closed eyes and assorted you-didn’t-warn-me-how-bitter-that-coffee-was style expressions. You would stand a better chance of getting a presentable photo out of the Elephant Man on a bad hair day.

But occasionally the stars align.
