Welcome to episode 16 of the Slouching towards Thatcham podcast, where this week I chat with yet another great parent blogger.
Each week my guest and I talk about and read one of our favourite posts, bringing you two slices of parenting life. It’s as simple as that: bite-sized chunks of blogging brilliance!
This week’s guest is the wonderful Katie from Pouting in Heels.
As her blog’s tagline says, Katie brings us real life, real inspiration and real glamour, whether she is talking about her home, her family, her style or sharing words of inspiration to other women.
This week she’s reading an open letter which should reassure and inspire anyone who is or has ever been in a difficult, abusive relationship. LIFE: A letter to women in abusive relationships – from a survivor of one, me is Katie’s story.
You can follow Katie on her blog Pouting in Heels, on Twitter @KateLPortman and also on Facebook, Pinterest, Google+, Instagram and YouTube.
I’m also reading a letter this week, one who I wrote a year and a half ago to a special young lady in my life: Kara. A letter to my two-year-old daughter is a love letter from a father to his daughter, one who continues to develop and amaze me with every passing week.
You can also subscribe to the podcast via iTunes, Player.fm, Stitcher or directly via this link. Or you can find every episode contained on the blog here.
Finally, if you’ve enjoyed the podcast and you’re an iTunes user, I’d really appreciate it if you could spare a minute to provide a quick review and rating. It makes a huge difference to how it’s ranked within iTunes’ listings. You can do this directly in iTunes or via this link.
