This week’s guest is the multi-award winning Hayley from the blog Downs Side Up, who this year has been recognised in the Inspire category at BritMums’ Brilliance in Blogging awards and has also won the Outstanding Contribution award at the Tots100 MADs.
Hayley’s younger daughter Natty has the genetic condition Down’s syndrome. And yet she is as capable of lighting up the world around her just the same as any happy, young child, as illustrated in The Doctors’ Waiting Room: The contribution our daughter makes.
She’s also a finalist for Mumsnet’s Best Campaigner award, the winner of which will be announced at Blogfest in London next month. What odds a hat-trick of awards?
