It’s easy to get caught in a cycle of thinking that days out with the kids have to be progressively bigger and better, when in fact it’s often the simplest days that are the most enjoyable for everyone. That’s what I discovered, at least, in When little days are the best days, when I spent a day with the boys just cycling around our local parks – a day which cost us nothing whatsoever.
