She may spend much of her time wearing princess dresses and fairy wings and acting all sweet and innocent, but don’t let looks deceive you: Kara is no angel.

Whether it is threatening you with a hosepipe that she wields in much the same way a bank robber might wield a sawn-off shotgun, or bossing her brothers and parents around with a tone of voice that would make even a stern headmistress cower in fear, there’s both a streak of mischief and a fierce determination to get her own way no matter what.

I wouldn’t have her any other way.
