3 Children and It

Another week, another Berkshire-based mum blogger. Suzanne’s was one of the first parenting blogs I ever followed. Her three children are older than ours and her posts are always full of honest insights into what I can expect from our kids in the years to come.

The ever-changing face of motherhood provides 25 reflections on being the mother of a teenager, many of which are universal to parents of children of any age – whether mothers or fathers. I’ve bookmarked the post for further reference and I’m sure I’ll soon be ticking off the last few items we haven’t yet reached.

Fatherhood Stories

Joe’s reflections on fatherhood are thoughtful and funny in equal measure, and his post A father of girls and that’s fine by me really struck a chord with me as he talks about the joy of having daughters and interacting with them.

It doesn’t matter whether we’re mothers or fathers, or whether we have sons or daughters. Love is blind when it comes to the respective genders of a parent and a child, and dads enjoy playing with their daughters as much as with their sons.
