    Oh yes! I say this to Mr B sometimes – children do as we do, not as we say! So true.

      It is. There are definitely some things that are ingrained in my personality (being too shy and quiet, for one) that I hope my kids don’t end up adopting, but I do try to ensure that what I do is congruent with what I preach. There’s nothing worse than knowingly saying one thing and doing another in any walk of life, but particularly parenting.
