Gorgeous 🙂 You don’t often see the who curve on the rainbow so it is extra special when you can.

Thanks. No special lens involved – just the panorama option on my iPhone’s camera.

Brilliant, very well caught. I considered getting a rainbow shot myself this week but wasn’t quick enough. You were obviously at some elevation? #MySundayPhoto

Thanks John. I was on the London Eye with some visiting relatives. We only had the full rainbow for a few minutes and I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

Wow! Fantastic to capture the whole rainbow. There have been some stunning rainbows this week, but usually when I’m driving, so I haven’t managed to get a photo.

Wow. This is a good shot. Is it taken from the Eye? Silly question I can see the shadow in the shot. I nearly went for a rainbow this week, but ended up with a very moody sky. #MySundayPhoto

It is indeed the Eye. I went up with visiting relatives the other day. Luckily we went up during a break in an afternoon of heavy showers and were on the way up just as this rainbow formed.

Lovely photo – I tried to get a rainbow that was here in the week but what looked lovely in reality did not show up on the photo.

I’m always on the lookout for a good rainbow picture, but too often I’m driving and so I can’t capture it. On this occasion I was on the London Eye and able to produce my camera at the opportune moment.

It’s an underused function, for sure – great for capturing this kind of landscape shot. And it makes a nice change from viewing the world in standard or square Instagram formats!
