For once, I didn’t have to push as the boys’ uncle (out of shot) was doing the hard work for me … 🙂

They were – not least because they were being pushed by their favourite (well, only) uncle.

It was a good morning. The boys had just seen their mum complete the Newbury Triathlon, so they were feeling a little inspired to burn off some energy!

Thanks Sara. More luck than any actual planning, but it’s lovely when these spontaneous photos work out.

Thanks John. This one was just a quick spontaneous grab with my iPhone, and then a quick adjustment in Instagram to throw the background out.

That’s a happy pair of boys! Love how Toby is in focus, but Isaac isn’t – it really captures the movement.

A fortunate accident, Sarah. This was just one of those quick spontaneous shots with my phone that worked out. So few of my shots are properly planned out these days, but then I’m a big fan of taking candid shots like these – it’s not as if the kids will ever pose properly for anything!

Thanks Tom. The depth of field was a cheat, though – a post-shot adjustment in Instagram, but I really wanted to pull the focus off the crowded background and on to the boys.
