Whatever happened to The Apprentice winners?: Yasmina Siadatan

A short series revisiting the previous Apprentice winners.

Won: Season five (2009), beating Kate Walsh in the final after both candidates were tasked with developing and launching a new brand of boxed chocolates. She is the only contestant in UK Apprentice history to hold a 3-0 as project manager.

Pre-Apprentice: Like season two winner Michelle Dewberry, Yasmina Siadatan was born in Hull, of mixed British and Iranian descent. Her father Medi was polygamous, having a total of 16 children with three wives. After completing a degree at the London School of Economics, she followed her father into the restaurant trade, setting up Mya Lacarte in Caversham near Reading with her brother Matthew. Her younger brother Tim was one of the original apprentices in Jamie’s Kitchen.

Post-Apprentice: Siadatan is currently working for Amscreen, the same division in which season four winner Lee McQueen was employed until earlier this year. In August, it was confirmed she was four months pregnant to Andrew Hepburn, a former colleague at Amscreen, whom she had been seeing for six months having split from her boyfriend of 10 years.
